Billy Griggers has spent 35 years in the investment and financial fields. After completing his BBA in Management and MBA in Finance from Mercer University, Billy began working in the investment field in 1983 with Prudential Securities Corporation as a Registered Representative. In 1985, he accepted the position of Development Manager for the Middle Georgia area. Throughout his career, Billy Griggers has amassed a great deal of experience in financial services, holding the following positions:

• Annuity Specialist, Laughlin Group at SunTrust Bank – 1993
• Program Manager (overseeing Registered Representatives), GE Capital at First Liberty Bank – 1995
• President of First Freedom Investments and Vice President of First Liberty Bank – 1998

When First Liberty was purchased by BB&T, Billy accepted the position of Georgia Regional Manager. Eventually, Billy decided to take his years of experience and training out of the corporate environment. In order to better serve clients, he opened his own firm which led to partnering with LPL Financial as the firm’s broker-dealer in 2000.

Billy has held the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant for over 20 years and has taught insurance and investment courses at Middle Georgia Technical College. Billy is married to Deana Griggers. They live in Byron, Georgia and have three children, Daniel, Hannah, and James.
