Billy Griggers has spent over 40 years in the investment, insurance, and financial fields. After completing his BBA in Management and MBA in Finance at Mercer University, Billy began working in the investment field in 1983 with Prudential Securities Corporation as a Registered Representative.

Since 1985, he has worked as a Development Manager with Prudential, Annuity Specialist for Laughlin Group at SunTrust Bank, Program Manager for GE Capital, President of First Freedom Investments, Vice President of First Liberty Bank, and Georgia Regional Manager for BB&T. After working with BB&T for some time, he decided to take his years of experience and training out of the corporate environment. In order to better serve clients, he opened his own firm and partnered with LPL Financial as the firm’s broker-dealer in 2000.

Billy has held the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) for over 30 years and has taught insurance and investment courses at Middle Georgia Technical College. Billy is married to Deana Griggers, and has three children—Daniel, Hannah, and James. He currently lives in Byron, Georgia.
