Lane grew up in Northern Idaho. Her first job was at Rosauers Supermarket at age 16, where she began as a courtesy clerk and worked her way up to Deli Assistant Manager. After graduating from high school, she moved to North Dakota where she met her husband, Steven, who was enlisted in the Air Force working on the Global Hawk unmanned aircraft. During their time in North Dakota, Lane worked as a Patient Access Specialist at the regional medical center. Lane gained the tools and aptitude to approach individuals and situations with emotional intelligence, meeting people where they are with kindness and without judgement through her years of customer service experience. In our office, she assists clients through her work with financial planning software and her work with Federal Employees on benefit reports.

Steven and Lane welcomed their first child, Steven Jr., in August 2014 and their second child, Slayton, in October 2020. Steven separated from the Air Force in 2018 and began a career in the Civil Service, which he continues at Robins Air Force Base today. Lane joined our team in July 2023. Lane has a deep appreciation for Military and Civil Service employees, experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be a Military/Civil Service Spouse. Lane knows the sacrifices these men and women make daily to keep our nation safe, and is excited to help those dedicated people plan for their retirement.
